The Alpine valley of Montafon surrounded by the impressive mountains Sivretta, Verwall and Rätikon is an absolute paradise for hiking enthusiasts. From gentle walks to challenging climbing tours, on panorama routes or theme trails, hiking from one cosy mountain hut restaurant to the next or testing your endurance on the one-time smugglers path to Engadin in Switzerland, Montafon has routes and destination for everyone.
A total of 500 km of designated hiking trails will take you through lush meadows and forests, from one mountain hut to the next, past Alpine farms, along spectacular ridges to the peaks of the Montafon mountain ranges. Hiking buses, cable cars and chairlifts aid you in your quest for the peaks.
